Playing Pretend | Grandparents Day | Playing Catch | American Girl Doll

On Friday Jan. 29th Lea Yael's school had a grandparents day and it was definitely weird to see our parents as that "grandparent" role. Bubby, Zaide and Saftah came and they got to see Lea Yael in action at school. Papa was very much missed so hopefully he'll be able to come and see her on another day!

Since we haven't posted in a while, here is a quick update: Lea Yael is still amazingly smart bli iyon hora. She remembers everything and hears everything as well. She has started reading and can identify words like Mommy, Daddy, Cat, Dog, Cow, Car, Lea and Jacob. She still loves school and comes home telling us every single thing that happened - literally, from the moment we drop her off until we pick her up. This month Lea will be turning 3 and as her gift, her Bubby took her to the american girl doll store downtown (with mommy and aunti allie). It was the best seeing her face when she walked in! She picked out two "bitty baby twins" and named the "Lea and Jakey".

Jacob Shia is Mr. Social and flirt. He smiles all the time and loves to give big hugs. He also loves giving big wet kisses. His teeth have finally made an appearance so we were right for the last 7 months when we used "teething" as an excuse for everything! Jakey loves all kinds of foods especially his Bubby's chicken soup which he gets every shabbos. He also love challah! He is always on the go- scooting all around the house and lights up every time he sees his sister!
